The scans on Tuesday went well. The ultrasound took an hour b/c the technician was having a hard time finding what they found last time and were trying to monitor (a good sign). We believe it is b/c the scars are so small and that this might have actually been part of the actual liver, possibly not even scars. It is harder to tell with ultrasound rather than CT. After the ultrasound we were then able to get in to Radiology and get called in for an x-ray within 20 minutes. Cole was once again set in a plastic contraption with his hands straight up, bawling for 2 minutes straight. The technician told me this was not torture but I did not agree. I guess this is what they have to do until he can sit up straight and sit still.
Anyway, I talked to Dr. Goodman and everything looked the same as the last scans. This is good news! So we will do this all again in October and then go to every 6 mos. instead of 3 mos. Thank you God!
